Gday Maurie,
So you did find the 3" dump very noticeable? Think blanking of E.G.R is something that needs to be done sooner rather than later!
My turbo spools up very quickly; at the moment around 900rpm. Turbo spool is very loud, enough to make rice boys in there doof doof cars look over to see what the fuss is...
I'd be interested mainly to find out if the dump pipe standard acts as a bit of a restriction and heat builds up there giving me a false reading on the pyro...
My main concern is something that was raised some months ago prior to the powerup on mine. If the turbo is given enough leway to spin up quickly, will the boost actuator (or whatever it's called) pick up too much boost too quickly and restrict it? At the moment, mine spools so quickly, without any probs. I just want to reduce E.G.T's even further...
What muffler did you put on and was it only one or did you still run two?
Thanks for the update mate...look forward to seeing your dyno report.
Cheers
chris.

Thanks Maurie!
I have a highflow single muffler setup as well. 346hp at the rears is impressive...I'm hoping to get my measily 155hp to around 180 once the motor/turbo have worn in with intercooler upgrade and dump pipe change over. Never going to run more than 12psi. Am happy now with the performance and really just drive it like a petrol now.
Still getting an average of 8.47 k's/L. Won't know of towing until this weekend. Heading out to Sandy Creek 4wd/
camping park so I'll have a better idea next week. Will set
Gps up to get correct k's etc.
Obviously you must be getting more happy with each mod that you do?
Chris.
