If it is anything like the 04 Hilux I recently had as a hire car, you probably can't LOL

Bloody buttons wouldn't work and it was only 15k old.

The older (mid 90's) Hilux's were terrible for this (in a dusty mine site environment), the push putton microswitches wouldn't normally last past the first service.

Right! Ive let you suffer long enough so here gos if it is anything like a cruiser one. some of your buttons will have secondary functions marked on them there should be disp, h,m, and set. My guess ids you have been trying to set it using the set button - WRONG WRONG WRONG. That would be sensible. With your acc on turn your radio off then while pushing the button marked disp also push the h or m buttons to adjust the time. BTW you are not the first to fail setting your toyota clock 101

u legend
thanks for that, u dunno how frustrating that stupid clock was esp since the unit WAS 5 mins slow and u think u got plenty of time to get there but u dont
also thinking bout it the disp and the set buttons seem to make so much sence? NOT i figure that it must be one of those ' lost in translations ' from japinese to english probably makes sence to them. i'll forgive them(toyota) its a great car.
