Was there last week! Plenty of water, but unfortunately did not have time to fish so can't help you there. I drove in via Walkers Crossing and out via the Old Strzleki Track, so can't help with your intended route, but most roads seemed in pretty good nick.

Jeremy, was there a couple of weeks ago and as Steve said, there is plenty of water. We did a spot of fishing from where we were camped in the town Common, but had no luck. Was speaking to some others who said its better fishing up near Burkes Marker. cheers, Sam.

Jeremy,
We travelled from Innaminka to Tibooburra via the Bore Track. It comes out near Cameron Corner. Costs $10 a vehicle but it is a private road for some of it. It was worth it. The track was in good condition three weeks ago and the rest of the road was OK too. We camped at Cullyamurra waterhole, no fish there either. If you are going to Birdsville, The Walker's Crossing track was a very nice drive especially the middle bit.
Have a good trip.

Do you require the Desert Parks pass to get to Iniminka?

My understanding is that you only require the pass if you intend on camping within the National Park boundaries (please correct me if I am wrong)
