LPG Availability in Cape York

We are considering going to Cape York and have a Nissan Patrol with a 90 litre LPG tank and a 60 litre petrol subtank. Can anyone tell us where we can buy gas north of Cooktown (we do assume LPG can be purchased in Cooktown?) Thankyou

I dont think there is any LPG available north of Cairns. Wasnt in 98. Check your maps - distance Vs petrol consumption. Is long way between petrol at Archer River/Weipa and the next at Bamaga!
