G'day Big fella,
by now I expect you should have a good idea just where the crack or bend is happening. as I have just recently purchased a '98 Rodeo 2.6 LX 4wd with 160,000 on the clock, I wondering if I should be out there on my back looking for tell tale signs.
After reading your
forum messages I logged onto another site I got from google (cant remember which one it was) which was a Subaru club drive through the centre, accompanied by a Rodeo dual cab with a load on the back. There is a photo of the Rodeo with its back broken, but you cant see if the chassis broke directly behind the cabin, or if it happened above the bump stops. What ever , it does not do anything to add to my confidence , or loss of it, in the vehicle !!
cheers and good luck with it.
