We have owned two black wolfs so far. They are great. I am 185cm and found the turbo 210 a little short for me but acceptable ( i like to stretch out ). We have used it beach camping (down south) in storms and very strong WA winds, just take your sand pegs!

They are quite - no flapping in wind -
they dont smell - like other canvas tents i have slept in
Very Very Easy to errect and take down.
They are bulit to be repaired in the field very easily and have great support from the suppliers. Also our tents came with a small selection of spares.

We decieded to purchase another turbo 240 and it rocks, we live in NW WA and use it regulary on our weekends and holidays when we go down south west. The have a great carry bag and about the only downside is its size packed but it fits in front of the rear seats (floor) or in the rear of our 100 series.

All round the best tent i have ever owned.

My daughter has been using a Black Wolf tent now for about three years from the age of nine, she wanted to be a part of the camping experience. The tent is easy to erect and dismantle, still water proof, no rips or tears, all the zips still work, no problems at all. I bought the tent from a 4wd show on special offer, worth every cent, I would buy another one.

Tracy & I have the 300.

After using it once, we decided to sell our two other tents.

Now, it fits Tracy & my 2 kids just nice, I still like to swag it.

Dead easy to erect & stow. Seems good quality.

I think the Oz Tent would definitely be quicker to erect, but the useable head room in Oz Tent didn't really appeal to us.

Go for it.....

Bought a Turbo Tent for a 7 week trip to Cape York last year & we have also used it since.

We had previously used a dome tent but buying the Turbo was the best thing we have done. We are very happy with the tent - easy to erect etc and is very functional. Have not experienced any problems with our 240 - plenty of room for 2 people & storage of gear. We have a Jackaroo & we store it across the vehicle on the fllor behind the front seats.

I'm thinking of buying a Turbo 300 and got some good feedback from some previous posts (21149, 20123). I prefer the idea of a two skin tent than the bulkier single canvas centre pole tents & of course it all folds up into a much more "packable" shape than the canvas centre pole tents . Feedback seems to be that the folding frame & knuckle joints are sturdy enough.

The only negative seems to be that the mesh windows don't extend as close to the ground as some other tents, so when you are lying in bed you don't get the full advantage of any breeze (and of course the rear wall has no window at all).

By the way, what's the best price you have got so far??
