i own an 1989 model turbo landcruiser with a 12ht motor coupled to a 5 speed manual box. i was wondering if any one out there had swapped a manual for an auto and if so were there any problems and pitfalls to be aware of. any info about this would be greatly apprieciated.

PT. I don't know all the details for fitting the box but at the very least you will also need the radiator from an auto in order to get the oil cooler. Hang on to your 5 speed in case you're not happy with the swap and if you do sell it, don't let it go for a song!
