No experience with offroad caravans on the
Anne Beadell Hwy, but seen plenty of camper trailers come through - often with bits falling off.
But I've done the track a few times. I'd expect the major issues will be
- that parts of it on the SA side are narrow with overgrown and overhanging trees, and the extra width of the van may see it knocked around.
- From
Laverton to about 70k west of the border was graded 2 years ago - should still be OK. East of that point it can be a bit sandy, but I'd expect with low pressures, between the two of you you'll get through OK.
- The corrugations from
Emu to
Coober Pedy haven't got any better - I keep the tyre pressures low to save the
suspension - used 17psi last time. Or you could do the run from Nullabor to Vokes Hill instead.
Cheers
