Truckster, I don't think it is about marked or un-marked cars, it is the UNfair way they are speed trapping. At the bottom of hills, on the flat immediately before a hill where people speed up a little to get up the hills etc.
If people are exceeding the speed limit by 9.9% or more, they deserve to pay. However, 62 and 63km/h is not fair or reasonable. When I was in
Tasmania they allowed 10% and if you got caught speeding, you were bloody well speeding - excessively.
Some of these streets that are 50km/h are just absolutely stupid. I am not saying I think all 50km/h streets are stupid, but some main wide throughfare streets that are 50km/h. Some residents are complaining about increased pollution levels in some of these streets as most have to shift down a gear.
