Recovery gear hire

Im wondering if anyone knows of a place in Cairns that hires out recovery gear. I'm planning a trip up the Cape and do not have the luxury of time to drive from Sydney so i'm renting a Landcruiser in Cairns. I'm driving the peninsula solo making recovery gear important, but I do not own my own. It would be nice to rent saving me the money vs. buying new gear. I could also rent gear in Sydney if anyone know a company in the Sydney area.....Thanks

Nope they don't supply the gear anymore. The rep told me to many 4x4 were comming back with major front end damage from people not knowing how to use the recovery gear. I was told a funny story about one unit comming back with the grill pulled through the bullbar lol. I guess they figure if the gear is not with the vehical people wont go deep and get in trouble.

Looks like thats my only option found a 9000kb kit on ebay cheap...gonna hate lugg'n it on the plane with a Tirfor though.
