Jack,
I have a 1995 2.8td dual cab.
The figures quoted are realistic, the prices are not.
What I have done is fit a 2.5inch exhaust system from the turbo back, I then when and had the fuel pump aneroid adjusted to suit. this was carried out by MTQ in Toowoomba QLD. The difference in low down torque/ driveability is very good, it now climbs up Cunninghams Gap in 4th where as before it was flat to the floor in 3rd and struggling, will also accellerate up the
GATEWAY BRIDGE in brissy in 4th and reach 100kph before the top, much nicer vechicle to drive.
fuel consumption on road is the same as before the adjustment, it is a bit heavier on fuel off road that it used to be.
Prices $380 for the exhaust, $125 for the adjustment and dyno runs (took 50mins)
Rear wheel power went from 55kw to 66kw.
Hope this helps.
