Apparently the Local Bush Fire brigade were training close by , and were able to get there quick smart , but weren't equiped to deal with vehicle fires (did best as they could until better equiped arrived).

Going on the picture on the front of the Canberra Times this morning, the Pajero is on it's side well alight and the Prado is still ok, so I'd say the Pajero caught alight and then the Prado.

Very sad, you can replace a car but not the kids, and to lose your kids in an accident let alone a car on fire would be horrific. It's been playing on my mind since the accident.

Hope the guy whole pulled out the victims gets some help as well as an award, my father was a firefighter when a rescue wasn't totally successful he would always have the "if only I was quicker, tried harder I could have saved everyone" thing start happening.
