Excellent Customer Backup

Submitted: Wednesday, Aug 03, 2005 at 16:09

Shawn

G'Day all,
After reading the bagging of Coopers etc, I thought I would submit something good.
On the weekend I bought and fitted a 4WD Interior (Outback) roof console. The kit was missing 4 plastic screw cap covers. I could have driven to Bunnings and bought them but decided to send Gary and his team an email. I sent a polite email to the Outback team at lunch time Monday and tuesday after work the caps were waiting in the letterbox being sent by overnight express.
Something very small but backed up and corrected by the company VERY quickly.
To Gary and his 4WD Interior team, thanks.
Cheers
Shawn

Good to hear, but thankfully I could cite many similar instances of excellent service & back up.
So it is a shame that companys such as Coopers don't have a hard & fast policy as to how to treat their clients at the time of the initial complaint, assume that we have legitimate grounds for complaint, not treat us like lepers!
I am sure if we have inadvertently mistreated our tyres we would cop it on the chin, but where there is an obvious problem they should do likewise.

Nice to hear of Shawn and his good experience with 4wd interior team, however people are bagging Coopers cos Coopers give em reason to do so, theres no smoke without fire!!

Sorry about that, too cryptic.
I am not sure if "all" would cop it on the chip.
Some may not even know if they had mistreated their tyres
