TCIS Insurance of V8 Diesels

Recently I read in a 4x4 magazine that TCIS would now insure the 6.5 V8 Chevy diesels. Does anybody know more about this or had dealing with TCIS as I’m interested in joining them if this is the case.

No suspension lift permissible in tandem with V8 I believe. One or the other is all they'll allow

TCIS you have to be a member of a 4wd club for min of 3 months.

Most in clubs seem to use them, I have large amounts of mods to my truck, 33/35's, 6in lift etc, they have no problems

AS LONG AS ITS ENGINEERED AND 100% ROADWORTHY.

Common sense really.

Have a 2 inch lift and a super charger tcis wanted $650, asked AAMI and got it down to $480 and can go any where as long as i am legally allowed to go there, beaches, 4wd parks forests, NPs and no compition racing. Col

tcis policy is custom writen for the 4wd community ie clubs very good policy it is agreed value for vehcles & you specifie your extras as insured as above & beyond the value of the vehicle not as part of the agreed value,so if your car is worth $30 000 & your accessories are worth $20 000 you are insured for the $50 000 value, police is fiarly comptetive price wise but by far is a better policy than most on the market,but you do have to belong to a4x4 club & remain a member to able to keep the policy Regards Bruce

accessories cver is one of the betterparts of the policy as alot of insurers tell you you are covered but if you read the small print it is only to 110% of the value of the vehicle, tcis camping gear policy is good as well
