My little piece of advice is to never put off a dream.
Growing up we were a family of seven in a small house, never had any of the things that the other kids seemed to have. All our furniture was second hand, many xmas presents hand made.
But nearly every holiday we camped sometimes close to home, every second year was a big adventure trip.
At 40 years old my mother went into a wheelchair and these days she is totally bedridden and my father at times has to hand feed her. He rarely leaves her side and when he has to he always gives her a kiss for every corner he has to turn in case she goes before he get back.
Where am I going with this, when she is sleeping and Dad and I slip outside for a chat we always end up talking about the wonderful trips and memories we have.
He says never put a dream off, do it today, never say when the kids leave home, or when I retire do it now because other wise you might wake up one day and the chance for those dreams have gone.
