Hiya

Went last night - actually we got there at 2.30pm and hung around til 9.30pm !!... bleep e the longest I've ever spent at a show without working there..hahaha [left the kids at home..:) ]...caught up with some people - hi Garyinoz, AdrianR and boys, Tonester and Caroline, Shannon & Nic [S&N] Crazie & Kir, and a couple of other bods we know. We had a good look at everything.....we were there long enough too, there's some pretty amazing things out there, fantastic 5th wheelers if you're into that, and some new interesting camper trailers, sat in a few different vehicles, laughed at Al in the Jeep, however, we didn't buy much Al got a water filter for the water tanks on the trailer and a pump and that was it. Stacks of people there, and I loved the rock crawling display outside, all in all not a bad was to spend half the day.

cheers

Lyn

We had a good time. Bought the Hema Fraser Island CD for $19.95 & an ICOM 400 PRO UHF for $340 from Time Plus with all extra channels programmed - a much better price than anywhere else.

Good to catch up with everyone

How kind of you to offer to look after my "off-site backup" :)

We're heading up to Fraser next week - the original might be available after we get back as it's pretty unlikely we'll get to go again in the near future :(

Went today got free ticket, didnt think much of the place, still they cant seem to manage to align the 'road/paths' so you can logically see everything easily.

Show specials. LMAO

ROFL Trucky....

show specials - I guess it depends on what you're after, Al got a good deal on the water filter he wanted.

and I agree with the roads/paths thing, you seem to wander in ever decreasing circles, though this year they didn'thave a wall/divider thing between the fishing bit and the 4wd bit, it all seemed merged - having said that, I don't know if it were like that last year, as I didn't pay much attention.
