Got any clues ?

Mal58

Hi,
I know that this is a bit off topic and I am not completely clueless, (some-times I think that my wife and kids would want to contradict this statement,)

I however have the opportunity to buy a second hand bull bar for my 4x4 at a very very reasonable price.

However, the bull bar is in Hillston NSW (100 km west of Griffith) and I am in Melbourne.

As I am not planning to drive anywhere near there in the short to medium term, the problem is getting it.

In your opinion, where would I look to see what would be the best way (ie cheapest) to get the bull bar transported to me ?

Cheers,
Malcolm

Get onto a local carrier like DHL or FedEx or Comet and ask them its prolly a $100 cost or thereabouts.

Maybe a silly suggestion / but try a furniture removals mob - they may just transport via the 2 main citys -- Ie Melb to Griffith so you may have to pick up from them - but many of them will allow ' Backloading ' - may cost $50 - $100 but worth it as couriers may charge a lot more

Hi Mal58,

Have a ring around the transport companies and find out who travels through that area.
I got mine bought up from melbourne to brizzy by Simon national carriers for 75 bucks, I realise it was between 2 capital cities but if you find a carrier that goes through ( or near there, and pay the seller an agreed amount to take it there ) it shoud be a reasonable price.
