Hi Mike,
I've got a 91 RB30 patrol, from new, it has 230,000km and have never been able to get any more than about 16-17 mpg or 17.5l/100km. I've had a bit of work done on the carby- remove the heater
grid, bring secondarys in quicker, extractors and advance timing. All improved power and torque but did nothing for the fuel economy. My problem might be the extra weight-
water tank, long range fuel tank, rear _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx etc but really don't know. Wish I could get what the others above state.
