A mate of mine has them on a 2WD Hi Lux which has an extended tray. When he loads it up with transmissions that are due for rebuild and drives to Melbourne from Canberra, the back hardly drops at all.

Same bloke comes out to the farm to get a load of firewood, and it will easy carry a full load and still keep the front wheels on the ground.

Because thy spring is not in contact when unladen the ride does'nt suffer.

Yeah Ive had them on for about 12 months now.

I initially put them on till I could afford new springs.

Got the new springs and after one trip I had the load plus back on the new spring pack.

I love em, the best $90 bucks I ever spent.

My mates sat back chucking off at me and observed when I first got them,

Now they have them ;)

Cheers

i have them on both of my tritons,4x4 and 4x2 and i am very happy with them.they lessen the roll on corners too as well as keeping the weight transferred to the front wheels.my 4x4 triton club cab has a candy camper on the back and the helper springs make a difference with the little extra overhang of the tray

Hi Zapper
i had them on a rodeo dual cab, they helped with the weight but i ended up putting an extra top leaf next time we went away. Also had problems keeping the helper spring clamped near the axel where it should be especialy on corragates(at Mount Dare eventualy tied it to the u bolts around the diff with fencing wire) i think a new spring pack etc. would be a better long term fix although not as cheap!!
