Tony - we were in
Seisia in July/August. We chartered a 24 ft boat to TI, and snorkelled and trolled our way over to the island on a day trip, with a visit to the museum on Horn Island and lunch at the Federal Hotel on TI. Our boat captain (Turnover Tim, from Bobby Charlton charters) then took us on a quick tour of the fort and the island (its not very big). That was a bit of a rush, as we lingered too long at the pub!! Cost for the eight of us was about $800. This compared favourably to the large ferry which had lunch at the resort on Horn Island - we priced that at about $125 per head. It depends on what sort of day you want. It was one of the highlights of our whole trip.
