Over the weekend, we left Swifts creek and headed to Dargo we crossed the Dargo river and passed Collins camping ground and Truckie spotted a mystery Grave .The Logs surrounding it, and the plaque were less than 6 mths old judging by how clean they were.

The plaque on the grave said

"A 17 Year Old Girl"..

Nothing more.. But what was more disturbing was the hole right next to it - 6ft x 3ft x 6ft deep.

Does anyone have the story behind it.

Everyone drove past it, I looked to the right and there it was.
.
The scarey part is the second hole RIGHT next to it.. Another grave site.

Maybe the result of the local Axe murderer, The second hole was for the next lone 4 wheel driver that wandered past.

Maybe someone dug up and nicked the body that was in the second hole????

Was it in an obvious place or did you stumble across it in a place where it's only going to be discovered by accident?

Depending on the circumstances a call to the police might even be appropriate.

It was out in the open. you cross the river, go along 100+ mtrs and the track turns into a Y intersection they all went left, it went right, and if you went right it was up infront....

I agree with what you said, I'm going to email that cop that was sending out the info on the blocked tracks.

Hopefully a group of Uni Arty Farty students were up there last month making their latest contribution for the short film festival and didn't clean up their props.

Let us know how you go.

Is that in Victoria or or SA? sounds alot like the sorta stuff that regulary pops up over the border in places like Snowtown and Truro
Despite the Haunted tracks and shallow graves it sounds like you had some fun

working on the principle that you are not allowed to bury someone in the bush so to speak, the logs being so fresh, then i suggest its a prop for a movie? or something...or are the creators of Maree Man at it again?

Pet cemetary? didnt say it was a human 17 year old girl. Came accross a few headstones when driving along the transline a while back with Coops N of Coolgardie and that was a pet cemetary. However they were made from bits of 44s and crosses made from sticks tied together

Actually Willem uses wheelie bins, easier on the back than digging holes for cats.

The other hole?????????

Ah! you are all wrong, its Roachies final resting place when that 'thing' he drives finally does him in from the stress of it all.

Other than that I can only suggest it was/is a 'test hole'.
