High country vehicle damage.

Crackles

Just back from the Victorian High Country with a convoy of a dozen vehicles & can't ever remember so much vehicle damage in a group caused by hundreds of fallen trees & branches. Bent side steps, deep scratches, a torn side wall, dinted gaurds & doors, wiring loom torn out & a fuel line ripped off just some of the damage in only 6 days. Worst area we found was from Tom Groggin to Omeo via Limestone creek.

plenty of rubbish out there on the tracks... this photo was November!

I was up there too.

Blew a Polyair climbing 16 Mile Jeep track.
Smashed a RHS mirror from a stick that jumped up, just missed my elbow and went straight through the centre of the mirror.
Staked the muffler.
Didn't bend anything else and all four tyres came through unscathed.

Had a great time though and met some great people.

I don't think it was the track, it popped going over one of the water run off ridges. Looks like it got pinched between the coils.

Heading that way again in April.

They had huge storms at Mum & Dads late last year from Sept through to Dec there were quite a few.

Australian Record inland wind speed excluding cyclone conditions was set at Hotham too - something like 190kmh.

No wonder there's a few trees down. You cleared the track for me then.

Always said you were a good bloke.

Much water in the Murray?
