Not knocking the club scene at allbut it may not be for everyone. Realistically you will learn much more in a day with a Nationally Recognised Trainer than you could imagine. It is also personal with one on one training even in small groups. Can also be private if required. You also receive a Nationally Regonised Certificate on completion of the course.

Many (including ours) have certified trainers who simply choose to give their time free to the club rather than make their living from it. A number of very experienced 'advisers' help our trainer. For most of our full day 'Driver Awareness Program' every vehicle on the track has an experienced adviser in the passenger seat. Few training companies would have the resources to do this.

At least 2 other clubs in our area use our facilities and people to provide 'driver awareness' to their members.

Certainly not all clubs will be as well resourced as we are, but I suspect many are. Initial annual membership covers the Driver Awareness program and costs less than many businesses charge for a day course.

You guys do a great job and have an important role to play in Off Road training and safety, but the better and well resourced clubs are capable of at least the same with other longer term club benefits as well.

I think there is room and a role for both in educating drivers for off roading.

hi jason good info you have supplied, also tried to get the bride to jump behind the wheel when going off road but she will not . i think she is afraid of me jumping down the old proverbial if she does wrong but thats no good if something happen off road somewhere & nobody within kooee in an emergency, thanks & have a good weekend. bob.
