Hinged UHF Antenna bracket

Submitted: Thursday, Feb 02, 2006 at 08:22

Des Lexic

Willem posted a question regarding a pivoting UHF antenna bracket. I checked with our local UHF store and he has a bracket made up that might interest some of you.

They are turned up from aluminium and are about 100mm long and about 35mm diameter. one end has a male turned thread and the other has a female thread cut into it. He has then cut it in half diagonally so thet it will pivot to the angle you want it to lay at. A large Allen Key type bolt and nut then holds the hinge at your desired angle. It's cost is just under $70.00
His contact details are as follows

Gardner's Berri Radio and TV
7 Verrall Cresent
Berri
phone 8582 1768

Ask for Malcolm Gardner

hope the information is helpful to some.

Cheers

I have a rotating mount that pivots 180degrees and mounts to the gutter. I use it for a CDMA antenna.
