Was out there a few weeks ago and it was very very dry, the tracks are a challenge at times but you expect that when rock hopping. You will have to carry your own water if you are going to camp out there. So in my opinion I think it would be wise to wait until we've had a lot of rain before going out there, only if you intend on doing a little gold panning.

If you are going on a day trip you can go in at the Blackbutt end of the Stage Coach road and then go out at the Nanango end. Its a long day though.

My thoughts only,
Steve
