If you buy secondhand, (and aren't too mechanically minded) what ever you buy, where ever you buy it - get it inspected by a reputable specialist 4wd service centre. They will give you more detailed
feedback on the quality and past history of the vehicle than your average motoring association.
Another tip from past experience, if you buy from a dealer, it may be worth doing some homework on the dealer itself. I once made a purchase, ran into difficulty with the dealer, only to discover they were already the subject of a significant Department of Fair Trading investigation.
Welcome, have a good time, and don't rush around trying to see everything, spend time just soaking up your surroundings.
