Looking for information & opinions on Swampers & Centipede tyres. What are each tyres best attributes? Looking at 32x9.5x15 for rock and mud use.

If you want to budget a bit there is also the "Mongrel " by motorway tyres. Looks like the Centipede- about $200 ea for 32x11.5. A remanufactured tyre.

Pedes are better for mud, but are about the best LEGAL tire
swampers are better allround. but are not road legal as they ahve no speed rating.

Claws are better for rock.. Legal

Boggers have no side grip at all. Not legal

Mongerals, have heard good for small light vehicles, but not for heavy...

truckster thank's 4 the infomation, i have a set of 31x11.5x15 claws and have found in mud they they wont clear the mud so i decided to go up a size to 32x9.5x15 centrepedies or swampers as they will be my 2nd set of tyres they might get on the 4x4 4-5 times a year so being legal doent bother me to much.
