I managed to get hold of a set of ATR's at wholesale prices: $210 per tyre.
I have had them on my Prado for approx 10 000 k's so far. Most of the driving has been highway work unfortunately with a little play in the dirt now and then.
After 10 000k's there is little visible difference from when they were brand new.
I am very happy with their bitumen performance, not noisy at all and their stopping ability on wet bitumen is excellent.
I am equally happy with their dirt / gravel performance but have to state this has been very limited.
When I return to
Australia later this month I will take my Prado through as much mud as I can find whilst I do some reconnaissance for summer
camping spots but that will probably be a little late for you.
If you can get them at a decent price then I would grab a set.....I doubt you will be disappointed.
Cheers......Taz
