Boorowa-Young-Harden areas

We usually do not veer off the Hume Highway when travelling to Melbourne, but we have decided to do start doing some short weekend trips and start exploring some of the smaller places we would normally bypass.

Apart from caravan parks does anyone know of any other camping spots in the Boorowa, Young, Harden areas? Have searched the net without success.

Thanks.

Hi Bomber,

I am not sure of the camp site at Boorowa but I can tell you that a steak and chips at the top Boorowa pub is big enough to feed a family of four.

Young might be better for camping but remember that they -6 the other night.

Regards,

Matt

We have a van, fully self sufficient with solar, water etc and we normally prefer bush camping to caravan parks.

However, if it is going to be that cold being connected to a powered site so we can run the heater sounds mighty attractive. Thanks for the tip about the top pub in Booroowa. Love good pub food.
