Hmmm.,
Interesting!..however, I must say that Aussies have a terrible grasp of the English language, I'm afraid, at least quite a few....must say i can't help but cringe when I hear someone saying things like .." I come down yes'dy"..or " I brought a car"...or .." I seen him "...pity, but can't help think that it is the fault of the parents, I think it is just laziness, really...what ever happened to speech coaching in schools?...having said that, I appreciate true "Strine", which is the slang rather than the speech!
(tend to think we put it on rather thickly sometimes..especially around the Yanks!)
See yuz later!!

Some of the Aussie metafors are quite funny.... "I'm as horny as a boat load of Vikings" or "shoot thru like a Bondi Tram"....
