Can't comment on OME stuff, but I am happy with my XGS shockers/Lovells spring combo.
Previously had Konis with the same springs and they were good, but eventually wore out around 160,000klm. Could have sent them away to be rebuilt, but that would've left me with no wheels for a week or 2.....not an option.
So I bought the XGS's cos they were only $135- each (Koni's were over $200-). Have done about 40,000klm since (including a Simpson Crossing....hard on shocks) and all is good so far.
Unlike a lot of ppl, I don't believe the hype that you MUST buy a "package" from a particular manufacturer. Some ppl believe OME etc actually get the shocks and springs in some sort of inter-woven, never-to-be-tampered-with combination and that your car will fall on it's side if you have springs from X company and shocks from Y company......Bullchit I say!!!!!!

How did you find the ride.As Truckster said(and have heard a few other people say it) that they give a firm to hard ride.
The only reason for going matched sets is ease of purchase, especially here, and if any thing does go wrong with either your only chasing one brand not two.

theres only 2-3 companies in
Australia that make shocks. they make them for other companies TO THAT COMPANIES SPECS... I love people sayign "ome are made by fooqakchuk's but the fooqakchuk's are only $10each, they are the same"...
probably the most important part of any
suspension package is to get them matched to each other - as in rates and lengths.
