The site was down, get over it.

Jimbo

This is the premier travelling and off road site available for Australians on the internet. It's a free service that we all enjoy.

So it was down for 11 hours. Find something else to do. It's a free public domain and if it is unavailable..... well it's unavailable.

I arrived home at 10.30 last night and EO was offline. I'm a resourceful man, I whipped out The Age, had a beer and a good read.

It is the first time I can remember the site being down for a long time, if you consider 11 hours to be a long time.

It's no biggie.

Agreed, sometimes s**t happens and it is out of the control of EO staff, and their ISP.

No point whinging about it whan it is back up.

Stating the profoundly obvious is just plain silly.
