a chip does not run an engine at its optimum ... more likely a bit on the hot side
remove kitty, block egr, exchange standard air intake, use larger exhaust
with smaller pipe at the end (higher flow), add dual manifolds, turbos and
exhaust and then tune it using a tech2 or such .. then we might talk optimum
but with all stock and just a chip you risk damage if you run it too hot all the
time ... but each to his own .. I admit its nice to dial in 120+ hp in 3rd step
when you want it ! but do you need it ? I was under the impression that the OP
had more efficient engine run as a priority but I may be wrong ...
