Ann we tow a jayco Expanda out back with 05 DID Pajero no worries up and down the beach just have to make sure you let the tyres down.Can sit easily at speed limit and over take (13-14Lt 100) .The van is 16ft so i don't think the lite Campomatic would give you any problems at all .

I have been sing a 05 diesel Pajero to pull a 2500kg Roadstar van very successfully. We get 7klm per litre over the last 30,000klm of towing. I find sitting on just over 90klm per hour to be the most economical. Ours is an auto so at that speed the transmission locks in 4th gear.

For what its worth, my 99 TD Jackaroo tows our fully loaded Campomatic Ranger M5 easily...... you might compare the Paj figures with the Jack ? The Jack is a 3.0L turbo - 118kw and 333Nm. Haven't got any weights etc - but the Jack and the Campo are usually full as a goog with tools, fuel, water and all sorts of camping toys. Highway passing around 90/100kmh is easy - plenty of power - we have also towed the Campo up mountains, through deep sand, across streams and in and out of gorges.
