Warren Gorge is beautiful for my purposes - i take my regular
Flinders Ranges Photography Tour in there for the first night.
Caravans should be no drama - the dirt road in is well maintained and not very far - less than Aroona Valley I would say.
The Gorge has a creek that runs through it a lot of the year with lots of frogs, birds and numerous Yellow-footed rock wallabies.
The walk/climb up the gorge at sunrise, if you travel quietly, will reward with lots of close encounters with the wallabies, especially if you climb over the pretty unique rock formation that the gorge runs through.
Up behind the gorge is quite a large
camping area with plenty of areas for a caravan in my view although I have never had one in there.
Argadells station, a little further down the road has some good 4WD tracks, one of which comes into the back of
Warren Gorge from Mount Arden, and a couple of gorges to look at too.
Further down the track the Willochra Plain really has a lot of interesting history and is quite picturesque too.
CIao for now
Andrew.
