Go out to the old Comet gold mine at
Marble Bar; they run
tours daily, and explain the processes of gold mining and refining. A great display of WA gemstones there too. All very interesting. That is if it is still the same as when we went there 3 years ago. I just love the inland areas.
I take it you've been to the Karajini? If not, do spend a few days there. The Chichester-Millstream are two adjoining but very different NPs well worth going to as well if you haven't been through that way.
I enjoy the
Ningaloo coast much more than the now over-populated
Coral Bay, which is not what it used to be.
For
camping spots, do you have Jan Holland's Priceless Campsites? If not, get a copy from the ExplorOz book
shop.
