Achtung! Haflinger 4x4 mit spaetzle - any unusual 4x4's?

Howdy all, further to a conversation in a previous thread, here's a pic of a Haflinger I snapped in Leonora (WA's northern goldfields) just a few months ago. What a ripper! There used to be a few around the place but this is the only one I've seen in recent times.

We used to scream around in one of these things in the mid 80's. Did a gearbox input shaft (about the size of my pinkie) on the Eighty Mile beach and had to order the Steyer-Puch bits from Porsche in Melbourne. These little buggers go anywhere and if you get stuck, just pick them up and set 'em back down somewhere better!

Anyway, enough rambling........time for 'show and tell'. Show us your Pinzgauers, Volvo 6x6's, Argo's etc.

Any unusual off road machines out there?

V8Diesel,
I seem to remember that there was a show on the box many moons ago about a bloke called Alby Mangels that put one (haflinger) on the back of a big cat and went up North Qld and further and used it to access inaccessible places.
Cheers,
Bros.
