Yeah, we were staying at Narrawong earlier in the year for our last attempt at a
Grampians trip. The fires started the day we drove down from
Adelaide and all we saw of the
Grampians was what was left of the trees blowing past in the smoke cloud!
This time we have some cheap
accommodation at Dunkeld (travel auction) and that is the only time I can get off. If it is too booring, we will be off up the GOR again!
This is my first visit there since I was 12 and the Bush Princess has never seen it. Even if the recovery is poor, we will be able to recce for our next trip down.
