Hats off to Auto Gas Connection in Melb

Hi all. Been a very long time since I posted up here, have been off with the fairies mostly.

I did want to say that the guys at Auto Gas Connection in Carrum Downs are a damn good outfit. They put an LPG system in the Prado last Dec and it just went in for its 20K service. (Thanks to Truckster and Andrew for pointing them out last year to me too).

AGC are totally flat chat. They were busy before, and then got 100 orders in just the first two days when the govt announced the LPG grant. They work 14 hr days. The backlog is mid next year. Whatever their workload, it certainly wasn’t apparent when they happily slotted the Prado in on Wednesday with <24hrs notice (I only found out their workload yesterday when talking to one of the girls).

There also turned out to be an intermittent problem in the LPG system and the simple service ended up being an overnight stay, and again there was no problem apparent from the overworked guys in slotting the time in.

The intermittent “problem” I had actually thought was normal in LPG.. Been happily living with it chugging a few seconds to start all year. Now, first time every time on gas & petrol. They know their stuff.

The girls even picked me up from the nearest station when I was coming back to get it.

I live no where near Carrum, but its worth the travel to these guys.

On a different note, I am having much more success lately in removing head from sphincter, and look forward to being more active once again in EO land.
