We're looking to work around Austraila. Family of 2A and 2kids. Have van and are looking to travel around Australia for 12 months leaving from
Sydney NSW. Can anyone that has done this advise how the work situation is. Hubby is a panel beater and tow truck driver but will try anything, I work with

Your advice will be much appreciated.

Fruit Picking? I have heard that some people do that as a working holiday type thing. I don't know how you go about it but its an idea...

The table grape season is about to if not already started up north, southern QLD starts late Nov to early Dec. They are always after seasonal workers.

As a panel beater if you were in Bunbury WA right now you could choose from several good shops for immediate start.

Right now in WA, any body with a skerrick of mechanical know how can get a job as a brain surgeon. We're screaming out for bodies over here! Mining companies are saying they can't get trained people so just send us people and we'll train 'em!
They can't get me though. I just refuse to work - AT ALL!

Rural areas have been looking for employees everywhere but the drought affected areas are less likely now to be that way.
