I didn't take it that way, I was just pointing out the David and his team gave us exceptional service before and after purchase. To the point that he went beyond what I expected, great guy with excellent customer service and focus. Again, good luck with the Camprite, they are very good and great quality with a great unique design. I have two good mates that have Camprites and they both praise the camper and it's Off-Road ability. One of my mates has now become a distributer of Camprites in Canberra.....Good luck and Happy Camping. I may be back over the West in 12 months or so and we could possibly catch up for a beverage........

Camprite happened to have one 18 month old TL8 on the floor with a heap of extras and I was happy enough with the price so within 30 minutes of walking into the showroom it was sold!

I plan to head down Albany way on Saturday but may come back thru Lake Jasper way, will keep an eye out for your rig.

Ahh the price, I don't understand why people are normally reluctant to state the price, especially when the new price is on the website so all have a general idea on it anyway.

I paid $21K for an 18 month old unit that appears brand new and has a heap of extras on it (it was the owners sons personal one). I will post some pictures of it shortly.

Yeah, it has the wet canvas issue. But every other type i was looking at also had the same issue so its at no disadvantage compared to others. Just needs some plastic over the beds when its packed away wet.

My Windsor Rapid had a great design so the wet canvas never touched the beds, but it cannot be incorporated into these trailer type designs.

If you like the comforts of a motorhome, then I don't think any camper trailer will really suit your needs. The one exception to that is the Kimberley Kamper - it has a porcelain vacuum toilet, shower, hot water on tap, microwave etc... and a price to match that starts at $54K. It certainly has the creature comforts but one big price tag.

Depending on how off-road you want to go, you may be better off with an offroad caravan. They will never go as far off-road, but you can get any and every creature comfort - as far as your budget will allow!

Thanks for that. Currently its parked inside again, but we have coverted that area to a full home gym. But by pushing a few things aside I have squeezed it back in for now. It will have to normally live outside and will make a lean-to to keep it under cover.
