Yep heard of em, have em and best $330 I ever spent too.

The original sale of them at $330 is WELL over. Months ago they sold out.

You wont get them for under $600-1200 now, people are cashing in on them. Saw a set on Ebay go for $1100 the other week.

good systyem, not as well finished as outback interiours (red desert are copies) but they were selling for $330.00 towards end last year. bolted straight in excellent value for money. some who purchased bulk lots are selling now for considerably more.

Hi Sloth,

My father purchased them and the set he recieved do not sit straight, so the drawers do not run smoothly. Unfortunately, by the time he got around to installing them, it was too late to do anything about it.

Hi sloth:

I had the same problem when I installed my Red Desert drawers, which I found was caused because it had not gone together "square". All I did was loosened all the bolts with the frame inside my 80 series, "squared it up" (using a very large square), then tightened the whole thing up. Worked fine then. Hope this helps.

Hi Jack,

That must have been an annoying and time consuming task. It would also have been difficult as all the bolts are underneath. Had you secured the bolts into the floor before doing this? My dads truck is a 100 series so I am not sure whether we could do the same thing.Just Do It!

Hi sloth:

Taxing my memory now ... but it went like this ...
I "loose assembled" the frame, then bolted it firmly to the floor. The surroinding frame was still loose. At that point I then proceeded to square it up then tighten it up. Yes, time consuming, difficult, a few skinned knuckles .. but the final result was worth the pain (I keep telling myself).
I cannot comment on the 100 series, although I was told they are pretty similar. On my 80 series I needed to relocate one of the bars which tied it all down onto the floor. I also neded to trip off about 1/2" off the tops so that they would fit into the 80 Series. Naturally, it is a straight bolt in for the 100 series.

Cheers
