The wife does 7 day hiking trips through Hinchbrook, apparently very peaceful and relaxing (go figure) and there are a few designated camping spots and you have to be self sufficient. There is a ferry service out of Cardwell and one at Lucinda. Cars are not allowed on Hinchinbrook, and there is a limit to the amount of people allowed to stay on the Island.

say at Port Hinchinbrook, there is a pub, bistro, restaurant & a boat motel there as well, were you can leave the tiny at is own wharf & leave from there to do the southern end (more fish at the southern end & go up Cardwell way for the northern part

How big is the tiny? there are a lot of camp site on the eastern side of the island but you are exposed to the sea if it gets rough. you need a sea worthy craft

Zoey falls is well worth the visit you can camp near the creek or up at the falls also there is a creek with a lagoon at the northern end of this bay a lot of Craft go in at high tide & camp, their are some good spots there as well

remember there is probably more crocs on the western side of Hinchinbrook island than any where else in QLD so camp smart
