Update on Fuel Consumption 3.4 V6 Auto

Just a quick up date on fuel consumption on the prado. Last one till we do the trip to frazer. I fill up every tuesday afternoon Litres used was 30.14L & klms travelled was 245klms which gives me a fuel usage per 100klms of 12.3L per 100klms. (unless I'm working it out wrong). This was all around town (Penrith) and one trip down to 7 hills (M4) inlaws yesterday afternoon and was giving it some stick keeping up with a 120 series. Gotta be happy with that. Regards Steve M

Ha Ha now thats idea might drop it down to ten per 100, maybe add two of them!!! They give your money back if it doesnt do anything to improve the economy.. Wouldn't waste my time or energy fitting one. Regards Steve M

Have a good one at frazer. Have you thought of puting a sports exhaust on for even better economy?
Cheers Pete

Hi Pete, na I like it nice and quit although they do have a resinating sound at certain rev ranges but no. I did have them on the old lux but that was for as much power gain as possible but it did make the old 2.8 that little bit noisier but couldnt really notice that much over the 2.8 rattle anyway.
