follow up to post 46145 2004 18Z landcruiser

Sorry folks.......got called away.....car troubles!!!

Looking at 2004 landcruiser with 85,000km.....standard rig ex air-force Liverpool NSW. Will be used for small amount city driving and bush travelling. Any suggestions for modifications.

Vehicle seems to be in good condition...want $34,000... any feedback appreicated.

Mods. OME springs and shocks
Put some map pockets on the doors, and a centre console and seats from a GX in it.
Things to check
Gearbox
Radiator
Bearings ...especially front
But with just 85K on it...no worries. Have the pump and injectors looked at when it gets 100K on it.

Mate I am currently in the defence force and wouldnt even consider buying a ex defence force car or fourby. Thay are driven by anyone and anyone. I have seen blokes pick up a brand new hilux(less than 31km) and have it valve bounce in 1st, 2nd and 3rd "just for fun" and cause "its not ours". You can take your chances if you want but get it fully checked out by a mechanic before you buy.
