The dealer has quoted $695 installed for the stalk. When I made phone enq's with an installer in Adelaide (I live about three hours away), they quoted about $650. I don't get to Adelaide that often so I will probably pay the extra to get it done here. I'm not sure how much extra for the pad.

Just had Autron Cruise Control fitted to my 2000 model ZD30 Patrol. Quotes in Canberra are $700.00 for auto and $750.00 for manual. Expensive but this is fly by wire stuff not mechanical. Was able to mount the buttons on the steering wheel are la Fairlane style. I believe there is some problem with the design of GUIII steering wheels which might mean fitting the stalk type unless Autron have designed a new button cluster..

Done a few thousand klms now and love it , if I had a turbo diesel I would get the clutch resume again its great.

I've had the storks before and wouldnt have one again, the steering wheel mounted buttons are much easier to use especially when you want to increase or decrease your speed by one klm at a time you just tap the buttons up or down, no twisting or turning knobs.

Cost me $690 fitted and for an extra $120 you can get three resume buttons on the wheel aswell.

I'ld negotiate the dealer down next time and get it via nissan ie sory i'll take delivery when you fix the scratches around the dash - the same bloke does them for my dealer as well.

Just to follow up, I collected my New Nissan patrol yesterday and can't stop smiling :-). I chose the pad (auscruise) in the end, it sits between the spokes on the rhs of the steering wheel in the same place as the factory fitted, and it fits in very nicely. The stalk looked good, but with indicator and wiper controls there was enough sticking out already. Seems to work fine and cost $695.
