If you wish some speculation on rainfall ahead a bit you can go to wxmaps.org/pix/prec7.html for the 14 day, but the top map is more like it.
With Elders mentioned above, you can get good rainfall maps, radar for state wide or national and even drill down to a part of a State from a location. Put in your local
weather, then look for the link to 28 day rainfall, then from that screen the suggested likely 12 month rainfall outlook. That all changes of course as they see the leaves in the bottom of the tea cup......
