Hi everyone..I've been noticing on a national weather site that the daily temps in Birdsville are around 25. Is this correct ? What is the weather like in Innaminka ?We are off in 3 weeks and are looking forward to the possibility of 25 degrees. We are sooo over this cold spell in Adelaide. How low are the temps going at night up there ? Many thanks....Janet

For up to date information on weather use the button to the far right on the left had side of the forum page.

Remember its winter!!! You may experience below zero temps early morningat Innamincka but days could be around the 15 to 20 mark.

Forgot once there select the location from the Detailed forecast lists - Birdsville and maybe Leigh Creek (do not think Innamincka has a weather station)

Try weatherzone.com.au for the best up to date weather reports, has Innamincka, Birdsville etc. wxmaps.org is worthwhile as well for the rainfall outlook.

Dont know if this helps you, but we are in Barcaldine at the moment and it is 25c here during day and about 10c of a night.

Other travellers here in the park have come across from either Mt ISA/Winton/Boulia/Charleville and have said that in the last 4 days the temps have been similar to what we are experiencing here in Barcaldine.

Birdsville had min 9 yesterday and max of 30 - wind has dropped away (thank heavens) and more normally beautiful days again for winter. Mornings will be cooler again later this week and provided wind stays away - suntans in middle of day.

Hi Ruth...Your reply showed up in my in box but not on the forum as yet. Many thanks again for your input. The weather sounds perfect.

And trust me any wind below 120km is a bonus. That is what I'm currently in here in miserable old Adelaide. For those of you in Victoria hang on to your hats because this wooly weather is on it's way over.

Thanks agin everyone....Janet
