Hi Axle...yea meant Millard.....is there anything more you can tell me about them...Have you had one? are they reasonably strong?
I was a little concerned when I couldn't find out where they were built or a contact number for their manufacturing plant.

Derek from Affordable Batteries & Radiators replied:

Hi Lindsay

They are very good vans. John Squirrell and Patricia Woodgate who are currently touring Australia with a Millard are very happy with theirs and it is a standard van which I modified for them. Axel under, LC stud pattern, Gen set, solar etc.

Patricia is taking photo's and writing stories for caravan and motor home at the moment. It is worth a read if you by the mag.

I own the Supreme Getaway and am happy with it after many modifications but I will build my own next time.

Regards

Derek.

Hello Lindsay,

Millard is a very old company of which i am unsure of its original origin, being around the 70's and 80's.I understand construction ceased for quite a while until maybe late 90's. Friends of ours have a 2000 model and it is manufactured by Gazal caravans. Nahi Gazal has had multiple caravan business failings and i think has now been banned from running a caravan manufacturing business by the authorities. They made Viscount,Millard and Gazal vans, and probably others. I think the late millards may be from them but i am not sure. I saw new Viscounts for sale still last year even though the business had disolved, may be worth looking into. A search on the net will reveal more. That said, our friends millard isn't bad, water leaks thru the roof seams either end have been a problem but otherwise not too bad as far as i know.

Regards

Greg
