Hi Guys,
I am about to purchase a new DC battery and have decided to give the AGM's a go. I have received the same price for a 100a/hr Fullriver DC and the Ritar (Alco) DC. Which one do I go for? The Ritar is rated at the 10 hr rate whilst the fullriver is rated at the 20hr rate. The fullriver is 4.3 kg heavier than the Ritar.
Any Knowledge, experience or advice welcome,
Cheers,
Mark
P.S - Can get both delivered to
Sydney
for $300

Another happy Remco customer. Mines also about two years old.
Its had many trips including two of 6 weeks each.
It will run the 40L Engle/20L Two Zone for around 3 days without running the vehicle engine.

Opinions are like the dollar coin , not worth much.
Facts however can save you lots of dollars.

replied: Thanks Guys,
After all the advice I have ordered the fullriver and expect it to arrive tomorrow.
People need to remember that when you buy a AGM you need to specify DC (if thats what your using it for) . All AGM's are not the same - there is a large range of AGM's aross all applications and prices vary accordingly,
Cheers,
Mark
